Because Life is so Hard, but God is still Good

I’m afraid that sounds trite, but I really don’t mean it that way. My pastor and his wife have been good friends with the Shaws for many years. That’s it for this week, friends. I hope that your weekend is filled with God’s grace as you serve Him where He has you.

I love the articles you chose!

Two of your links are wonky – the one about Japan and notebooks and the second one on PTSD.

Re: Art and the Mind’s Eye, a quote from John Ruskin that has been on my bulletin board for years –

“The entire object of true education is to make people not merely to do the right things, but to enjoy them; not merely industrious, but to love industry; not merely learned, but to love knowledge; not merely pure, but to love purity; not merely just, but to hunger and thirst after justice.” John Ruskin

Awesome quote, Virginia! I’m saving that one. Thanks for alerting me to the problem with my links. I’ve corrected them. 🙂
